Once a month, my Stampin Up! consultant has a techniques class. You go to her house, pay $10 and make 3 beautiful greeting cards using her supplies. I go as often as I can and really enjoy the 1-1/12 hours I spend making cards and chatting with the other women there. Allison usually goes with me and it's a nice Mother/Daughter experience. And while I continue to bitch about the high price of greeting cards at the store, I have only used about 2 of my beautiful handmade cards. When an occasion arises, I get in my car and drive to the nearest Hallmark store and spend way too much for a card, even though I have a drawer full of handmade ones.
