New Boobs For Everyone!

"No, Maria!!

I am NOT going to smell your armpits. I don't care how well you like your new deodorant!" said Marilyn, firmly.

Handy Gadget

I bought one of these for my guest bedroom. I've been meaning to and finally remembered to order one. My sister will be able to initiate it next week when she stays at my house.
Sarah has one at her house and I love to store my suitcase on it. I can keep my suitcase open and live out of it without stooping down to the floor to rummage through it every morning when I get cleaned up. And, there's just enough room underneath it to store a bag for my dirty clothes.
It didn't cost much but I kept forgetting to order one until I had guests coming and it was too late. I hate when I do that.
Such a handy thing to have.

Twenty-Fifth Annual 3 Day Girl's Getaway!

I'm actually not sure which annual get-away this is but it's somewhere in the mid to late twenties. The twelve of us spend three days at the lake drinking, gambling and solving the world's problems. I've got my booze and nickels ready, the rest is just fluff.

To Whom It May Concern!

I know that I'm in the minority, but I hang the toilet paper in my bathrooms with the paper coming from underneath because that's the way I like it. Please do not take it upon yourself to change it around just because you may prefer it coming from over the top. I will change it back to how it was when you found it. Every time! My bathrooms, my preference. You're just making more work for yourself and for me. Thank you.

Three Amigos

Lazing away the afternoon at the lake :)

Arikara Pow Wow

Mike, Shirley, Marilyn and I went to an Arikara Pow Wow in White Shield yesterday. It was amazing to see all the beautiful and colorful costumes. We ran into a friend of Mike's who is Native American and he patiently explained the significance of the different dances and the costumes to us.

Dear Jim,

I always appreciated that you kept my car washed, Windexed, ArmorAlled, vaccumed and waxed. I hope I remembered to thank you every time you spent your whole day working on it. Man, I sure didn't realized how much work it was. Even taking it to Toad's Ride and Shine for the outside, it's still a big job. Whew!
Love ya!

Mischievous Dog

This is my dirty clothes hamper. It sits in my bedroom beside the dresser.
Last night, I didn't go to bed at 10:00PM as usual, I was reading a book I wanted to finish before turning in. Evidently, Stella didn't think that was a good reason to stay up.
I knew she was in my bedroom but I assumed she'd gone to bed without me. (Yeah, I know... assumed!!) She does that some nights.
Later, I thought I heard a scratching sound, like she'd jumped up against the hamper. I dismissed it because it has a lid, it never crossed my mind that she could get into it.
WRONG!
When I went into my bedroom to get ready for bed, I couldn't find her but everything was tidy in the there. The first place I looked was under my bed and there she was with a small pile of my dirty clothes!
How she got into the hamper and closed the lid again still has me stumped.

Good Girl!

Hooray! This is the first time Stella hasn't barked her head off when someone walked a dog past our dining room picture window. She got through it without barking at all! Of course, I had to sit right beside her, telling her what a good girl she was. Oh well, it's progress :)
And don't forget, I did teach her to not go down the open staircase, so she is educable.

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

I woke up at 5:00AM to the sound of pouring rain. It's been pouring ever since. My Grandma used to call it good sleeping weather when it rained like this. Evidently Stella agrees. She went out at 7:00AM to pee and has been back in bed ever since, the little stinker.

What Is It With Boys and Dirt??

Picnic in the Park

My brother, Paul's twin granddaughters were in town and Allison, the boys, my Mom and I joined them for a picnic Tuesday afternoon. Sophia and Olivia are growing up so fast, they turned seven earlier this month. My Mom enjoyed the snuggle time with Livie while Sophie was off playing with the boys. There's a 75 year age difference between my Mom and the girls.
