I closed on my lot yesterday, met with my builder, we ordered trusses and have started picking things out for my new home. Karter is going to do the digging this coming week and things will start happening fast. I'm getting very excited!
Yep, we're keeping our fingers crossed for a later winter but I should be in by the middle of November. The builder is at a lull waiting for people to decide what they can and want to do with their homes. They're all waiting to find out what the city is going to do about the river before they can make those decisions. Many people have put off making decisions until next spring. They're gutting their places and are getting them sanitized over the winter. Anyway, he will only be working on mine for now and it's going to be a little house with no basement. I'm building for Stella and me, we don't require much room :) She'll finally get a yard to run in.
