Mike, Shirley, Marilyn and I went to an Arikara Pow Wow in White Shield yesterday. It was amazing to see all the beautiful and colorful costumes. We ran into a friend of Mike's who is Native American and he patiently explained the significance of the different dances and the costumes to us.

You're lucky he was there. So often we go places where we know what we are seeing is significant, but it is never explained. Opportunity missed!
